The Youth 4 Truth are the teens in GCA that are in 7th-12th grade.

The events are planned by the ASB (Associated Student Body) and executed by the Advisor and parents.

What type of events are planned?

The bigger seasonal events are:

  • Murder Mystery Dinner

  • Christmas Party

  • Progressive Dinner

  • Spring Dance

  • The Amazing Race

Service Projects

Serving others is emphasised in our group so there are typically 3-5 service projects planned per school year.

Sometimes it’s packing food at that the food bank, cleaning up our local water ways, working in the Operation Christmas Child warehouse or making blankets for The Project Linus, there’s always an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Tell me more about the ASB

The ASB exists to give a voice to the teens of GCA by planning outings, gatherings, service projects, events (big and small) and fundraisers for the 7th-12th grade student body throughout the school year.

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,"- Philippians 2:3

The members of the ASB will be trained in organization, working and collaborating with others, communication, kindness, customer service, event planning, leadership, conducting meetings with an agenda and goal, giving back, budgeting, setting goals and assessing the success of events and how to improve for the future. These are necessary skills in the work force and in adult life.

High School Graduation is provided

We like to bless the high school seniors and their moms with activities throughout the senior year specifically for them as well as a proper graduation ceremony with speeches, slideshows, worship and a charge given that will leave your young adult inspired and motivated to continue growing in their walk with the Lord in this new stage in life.
